Getting Around

Our apartments at the Grid in East Boston are walking distance from parks, shopping, and a growing restaurant scene with culinary that will please all taste buds. However, if you are looking to get around Boston and beyond, East Boston has a wide array of public transportation right at its finger tips.

MBTA - Maverick Square

Located in Maverick Square, the Maverick T-Station carries the blue line and is only one stop away from the Aquarium and Logan Airport.

With departures just about ever 10 minutes, this is a connection to the heart of Boston or to the rest of the world that makes living at the Grid East Boston a perfect location no matter where the day takes you.

Seaport Ferry

Take advantage of living right on the Boston Harbor and enjoy taking the Seaport Ferry instead of the subway! The Seaport Ferry picks up at Lewis Mall Warf and departs every 20 minutes.

The Seaport Ferry docks at Fan Pier.

Highway & Airport Access

If you are leaving the city, take advantage of access to the highway only a few minutes away or check into Logan Airport only a few minutes away. The Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) has direct access to East Boston and travels through Boston, the rest of the state, and beyond. Logan Airport is only one stop on the subway away.

Having this major highway and airport so closely connected to your neighborhood eases travel when you are looking to leave the city.
